Meplis completes 4y research project

Meplis: Driving Healthcare Innovation in the Magnet4Europe Project

In 2020, Meplis became a proud beneficiary of the Magnet4Europe project consortium, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Grant Agreement No. 848031). The project’s mission: to improve mental health, well-being among healthcare professionals, and patient safety in over 60 European hospitals across six countries.

At the heart of this effort, Meplis delivered advanced technology solutions to survey thousands of healthcare professionals in six languages over four years. Our platform seamlessly implemented different privacy and informed consent mechanisms tailored to each country’s requirements, ensuring compliance while maximizing participant engagement.

Our innovative technology also captured longitudinal research data from participants who created accounts, enhancing the user experience and building trust in the data collection process. For those preferring to remain anonymous, Meplis provided an option to participate without account creation, offering flexibility and security.

Beyond surveys, Meplis enabled robust collaboration through community technology that connected hospital managers across continents. We paired managers from European hospitals with their US counterparts, allowing them to exchange experiences on mental health interventions. In one integrated platform, over 60 tailored social networks were activated, ensuring that participants could access only the networks relevant to their roles—boosting engagement and fostering meaningful collaboration.

From secure data transfers and exports to population management and personalized role-based access, Meplis delivered a comprehensive solution that supported the project’s complex needs and goals.
