10 year patient remote monitoring
ZNA started working with Meplis after extensive internal reviewing. The objective is to offer pre and post surgical patient monitoring in a structured pathway to measure long term patient outcome after orthopedics surgery.
Outcome measurement
Patients are invited to the pathway by ZNA collaborators in surgery has been decided for the particular patient. Patients can accept the policy and complete a pre-operative assessment. After surgery, the patient flows automatically into a 10 year follow-up. Patients report on general well-being and several official evidence-based health instruments.
Scalable pathways
The project originally set off with one pathway for Knee surgery. In later stages, other pathways were added for hip replacement and foot & ankle surgery. Meplis makes it possible to add other hospitals of the same group to the project and have separate patient management interfaces.
Custom Analytics and Integration
The ZNA Orthopedics project holds an integration between Meplis and ZNA ICT, not only for automatically encrypted exports into the hospital systems but also for the import of patients.
A custom integration between Meplis and ZNA was created to automatically allow collaborators to invite patients based on their patient number, allowing for a smooth integration of data at any later stage.
